Configuring EvoFX to integrate scoring from the Squore app

In this article, you will learn how to configure the EvoFX to integrate scoring data from the Squore app.

Before you begin

To learn how to transition a graphic to live in EvoFX broadcast graphics platform studio, refer to this article.

Configuring EvoFX to integrate scoring from the Squore app

  1. Navigate to the Squore app webpage at https://squore.double-yellow.be/live.
  2. Apply the desired filters on the Squore webpage and copy the URL from the app.
  3. When creating the URL in the Squore app, ensure you select "Apply and Full Screen" before copying the URL for encoding.
  4. After creating the URL, visit https://www.urlencoder.org/ and encode the copied URL.
  5. Paste the encoded URL into the settings text field in the EvoFX scene studio's graphic.
  6. The final settings text field should look like this: "?data_source=squore&text_input_11=<encoded_url>"
  7. Once the URL is saved, the graphic will appear in the live window, provided the graphic has been transitioned to live.

Navigate to the Squore app webpage


Apply the desired filters on the Squore webpage to create URL


Visit urlencoder.org and encode the URL copied from the Squore app


Paste the encoded URL into the settings text field in the EvoFX scene studio's graphic

Note: Ensure the settings text field in the scene studio's graphic looks like this:

?data_source=squore&text_input_11=<encoded_url>


Preview the graphic in the scene studio of the EvoFX

NotesNote: It may take a few seconds for the graphic to load for the first time, but it will load faster in subsequent attempts.



Transition the graphic to live in the scene studio of the EvoFX


Overwrite default data in graphics by using custom text inputs

  1. You can overwrite the default data in the graphic by customizing it through text inputs.
  2. To do this, access the text input dialog box by clicking on the settings button, as shown below. Once clicked, the text input dialog box will appear.


In the image below, on the left side, you can see the graphic displaying data from the customized text input values. On the right side, you can see the text input box where the customized text inputs with their values are entered.
