Start, pause, resume, stop and save a recording
In this article, you will learn how to start, pause, resume, stop and save a recording in the Creator app of SPAN sports performance analysis platform.

Start, pause, resume, stop and save a recording
- Open the video file in the Creator app for analysis and recording.
- To start the recording, you can either click the "Start recording" button on the right panel or press the "r" key.
- To pause or resume the recording, use the "Pause recording / Resume recording" button on the right panel, or press the "p" key.
- To stop the recording, click the "Stop recording" button on the right panel or press the "x" key.
- After stopping the recording, a dialog box will appear, displaying a dropdown menu with a list of folders available in your organization.
- Select the desired folder from the dropdown menu by clicking on its name.
- After selecting the folder, click on the "SAVE" button within the dialog box to save the recording.
- Once clicked, an alert message will then appear at the bottom-right of the page, indicating "Recorded video being sent to our servers for processing".
- Once the video is successfully uploaded to the SPAN servers, a green-colored alert message at the bottom-right of the page will confirm "Recorded video sent to Banyan servers. Processed video will be stored in the selected folder".
- This alert message will also include a link to the folder where the recording has been saved. Clicking this link will open the folder, allowing you to view the saved recording.
