Adding EvoFX live link as a browser source in OBS
After opening OBS and selecting the necessary scene, proceed to add EvoFX live link as a browser source in OBS by following these steps:
- Go to the "Sources" section located at the bottom left side of OBS.
- Click on the "+" button to add a new source. Upon clicking, a box will appear displaying a list of source options.
- Select "Browser" from the list by clicking on it. Once clicked, a dialog box will then open.
- Enter a new source name in the "Create new" input field of this dialog box, then click "OK".
- Once clicked, another dialog box will appear displaying the properties of the new browser source.
- Paste the EvoFX live link into the "URL" input field. Set the "Width" and "Height" input fields to 1920 and 1080 respectively, then click "OK".
- Ensure that the EvoFX link browser source is positioned above the device capture source in the "Sources" window.
- Note that upon entering the EvoFX link, the window may initially display nothing if there are no active graphics.
These steps will integrate the EvoFX live link into your OBS scene, enabling you to broadcast the live content.
Note: To add an URL as a browser source in OBS, refer to the article on OBS's official website that covers this process in detail.
A graphic on live
- In the below GIF, the EvoFX producer panel is shown on the left side, while the EvoFX live link, which was added as a browser source in OBS, appears on the right side.
- When a graphic is fired using the producer panel on the left, you will see it appear in the EvoFX live link window on the right side.
- This demonstrates how changes made in the producer panel directly affect the live link output visible in OBS, allowing for real-time updates and interactions during a live broadcast.
