Adding and linking buttons to a tag panel

In this article, you will learn how to add and link buttons in a tag panel after it has been created.

Adding and linking buttons to a tag panel

After creating a tag panel, you can build it in three steps:
  1.  Adding labels to tag panel
  2.  Linking tag panel to primary category buttons
  3.  Linking tag panel to label buttons
Adding labels to tag panel
  1. Click on the "ADD LABEL(S)" button within the tag panel.
  2. Once clicked, a dialog box titled "Add label to current tag panel" will appear, featuring a dropdown menu named "Select Secondary Category" that lists secondary categories.
  3. Select the desired secondary category by clicking on its name.
  4. Upon selection, another dropdown menu will appear named "Select Labels," which contains all labels associated with the selected secondary category.
  5. From this dropdown menu, select the labels you wish to add to the tag panel.
  6. After making your selections, click on the "ADD" button to finalize the addition to the tag panel.
  7. The labels you have added will then be visible within the tag panel, highlighted in purple along with the names of their corresponding secondary categories.

Linking tag panel to primary category buttons

  1. In the Tagger app, tag panels can be shown when primary category buttons are clicked.
  2. To link primary categories to a tag panel, click on the "ADD LINK TO PRIMARY CATEGORY" button within the tag panel.
  3. Once clicked, a dialog box titled "Add link to current panel from primary category" will appear, featuring a dropdown menu named "Select Primary Category" for selecting primary categories.
  4. From the dropdown menu, select the primary categories you wish to link to the tag panel.
  5. After making your selections, click on the "ADD" button to finalize the linking to the tag panel.
  6. The primary categories you have linked will then be visible within the tag panel, highlighted in blue  besides the heading "Primary categories linked to this panel"

Linking tag panel to label buttons

  1. In the Tagger app, tag panels can be shown when label buttons are clicked.
  2. To link labels, click on the "ADD LINK TO LABEL" button within the tag panel.
  3. Once clicked, a dialog box titled "Add link to current tag panel from label" will appear, featuring a dropdown menu named "Select Secondary Category" that lists secondary categories.
  4. Select the desired secondary category by clicking on its name.
  5. Upon selection, another dropdown menu will appear named "Select Panels," which contains all labels associated with the selected secondary category.
  6. From the dropdown menu, select the labels you wish to link to the tag panel.
  7. After making your selections, click on the "ADD" button to finalize the linking to the tag panel.
  8. The labels you have linked will then be visible within the tag panel, highlighted in purple besides the heading "Label(s) linked to this panel"

Multiple tag panels

As shown below, you can add multiple tag panels to a single tag template.
