Batting scorecard

In this article, you will learn how to fire the batting scorecard graphic like the below one in EvoFX broadcast graphics platform studio.


Before you begin

  1. To learn how to select a match in EvoFX studio, refer to this article.
  2. The batting scorecard graphic can be activated like a lower third graphic. To learn, how to fire a lower third graphic in EvoFX studio, refer to this article.

Selecting innings in batting scorecard

To display the batting scorecard graphic for a selected match in the "PREVIEW" window, follow these steps:

1. Enable the batting scorecard:
  1. Click on the "BATTING SCORECARD" button located in the "CONTROLS" column.
  2. Upon clicking, the "BATTING SCORECARD" will turn red in both the "CONTROLS" and "SLOTS" columns, indicating it is active.
  3. By default, the "INNING_1" option from the "SLOTS" column's dropdown menu will be selected, displaying the batting scorecard for the first inning.
2. Switch to the second inning's batting scorecard:
  1. To display the second inning's batting scorecard, click on the "INNING_2" option in the "SLOTS" column's dropdown menu.
  2. Once clicked, the second inning's batting scorecard will be displayed in the "PREVIEW" window.

Customizing the batting scorecard

  1. You can also customize the details in the "BATTING SCORECARD" graphic by editing it in the settings column located on the right side of the page.
  2. To do this, click on the edit button in the settings column of "BATTING SCORECARD" as indicated below.
  3. Upon clicking, a dialog box titled "Add Text Inputs for Batting Scorecard" will open.
  4. This dialog box will contain four input fields: "Text Input 1", "Text Input 2," "Text Input 3" and "Text Input 4".
  5. To update the text, simply rename the text in the input fields and either press the enter key or click outside the input fields to ensure the changes are reflected in the "BATTING SCORECARD" graphic.
  6. To close the dialog box, click on the "CLOSE" button located at the bottom of the box.
