Delete tags

In this article, you will learn how to delete tags from a video file.

Before you begin

To learn basics of video tagging, refer to this article.

Delete tags belonging to the current template

  1. After opening your video file in the Tagger app, click on the "Delete tags" button located on the left panel, as shown below.
  2. Once clicked, a dialog box titled "Confirm tag deletion" will appear.
  3. In this dialog box, you will be presented with 2 options:
    1. Delete all the tags of this video file related to the current template.
    2. Delete all the tags of this video file related to all templates.
  4. To delete all tags of this video file associated with the current template, select the first option.
  5. Then, click on the "DELETE" button to confirm the deletion process.
  6. Once clicked, an alert message "Tags deleted successfully" will appear at the bottom right of the screen indicating that the tags related to the current template have been deleted successfully.

Delete tags belonging to all templates

  1. After opening your video file in the Tagger app, click on the "Delete tags" button located on the left panel, as shown below.
  2. Once clicked, a dialog box titled "Confirm tag deletion" will appear.
  3. In this dialog box, you will be presented with 2 options:
    1. Delete all the tags of this video file related to the current template.
    2. Delete all the tags of this video file related to all templates.
  4. To delete all tags of this video file associated with all templates, select the second option.
  5. Then, click on the "DELETE" button to confirm the deletion process.
  6. Once clicked, an alert message "Tags deleted successfully" will appear at the bottom right of the screen indicating that the tags related to all templates have been deleted successfully.
