Deleting folders

In this article, you will learn how to delete folders in SPAN sports performance analysis platform.

Deleting folder in thumbnail view

  1. In the thumbnail view of the folders page, if you hover over any folder, a three-dotted button will appear on the bottom right.
  2. Click on that three-dotted button.
  3. Once clicked, this will pop up a menu containing three options: "Folder Permissions," "Rename," and "Delete."
  4. Click on the "Delete" option.
  5. Upon clicking, a dialog box titled "Confirm folder deletion" will appear.
  6. To confirm the deletion, click on the "DELETE" button.
  7. Once clicked, the folder will be deleted, and an alert message will appear in the bottom-right corner of the page, indicating that the folder has been successfully deleted.

Deleting folder in table view

  1. In the table view of the folders page, to delete any folder, click on the red "Delete folder" icon in the "Actions" column of the folder you want to delete.
  2. Upon clicking, a dialog box titled "Confirm folder deletion" will appear.
  3. To confirm the deletion, click on the "DELETE" button.
  4. Once clicked, the folder will be deleted, and an alert message will appear in the bottom-right corner of the page, indicating that the folder has been successfully deleted.


Notes
Note: Deleting a folder will also delete all files, annotations, comments and votes associated with the file. This action cannot be undone.
