Polygon
In this article, you will learn how to create a polygon drawing.
Before you begin
Drawings can be added to both images and videos and must be linked with captions. To learn how to create captions in SPAN sports performance analysis platform, refer to this article.
Polygon drawing
- Click the "+" button located at the top of the left panel to create a new annotation. Once clicked, the annotation will appear on the right side, labeled with the default caption "Caption".
- To link a polygon drawing to this caption, click the "Draw polygon" button in the left panel.
- Then click on the desired area of the video or image, then drag the mouse to create one side of the polygon. Click and drag again to form another side. To complete the polygon, double-click after drawing all the sides. You can add multiple drawings to the same annotation.
- To draw polygons with straight sides, press and hold the "Shift" key while drawing the sides as shown below.
