Renaming folders

In this article, you will learn how to rename folders in SPAN sports performance analysis platform.

Renaming folder in thumbnail view

1. In the thumbnail view of the folders page, if you hover over any folder, a three-dotted button will appear on the bottom right.
   
2. Click on that three-dotted button.
   
3. Once clicked, this will pop up a menu containing three options: "Folder Permissions," "Rename," and "Delete."
   
4. Click on the "Rename" option.
   
5. Upon clicking, a dialog box titled "Confirm renaming of folder" will appear.
   
6. Change the folder's name in the input field labeled "Rename folder."
   
7. After changing the name, click on the "RENAME" button.
   
8. Once the renaming is complete, an alert message will appear in the bottom-right corner of the page, indicating that the folder has been successfully renamed.
   

Renaming folder in table view

1. In the table view of the folders page, double-click on the folder's name to enable editing.
   
2. Rename it to the desired name.
   
3. After changing the folder's name, either press the "Enter" key on your keyboard or click outside the folder's name to confirm the renaming.
   
4. Once the renaming is complete, an alert message will appear in the bottom-right corner of the page, indicating that the folder has been successfully renamed.
   

Note: You cannot rename folders created by other users. Only the owners and organizers of folders have the authority to rename folders.
