You can upload public images and videos to the SPAN sports performance analysis platform as a central storage area and reuse them by copying their URLs across multiple locations or applications. This allows you to access the same media without uploading it again. In this article, you will learn how to upload a public image or video file from your local storage to the SPAN.
Before you begin
To learn how to navigate from home page to organisation level to folder level in SPAN, refer to this
article.
Uploading public files
To upload public image or video files into SPAN, click on the "Upload Public Files" button located on the left panel of the organisation’s home page.
Once clicked, it will redirect to the "Uploads" folder, where it shows "Drag and drop files here or Click to upload" on the page.
You can either click to upload or drag and drop a single image/video file or multiple files as per your need from your local storage.
Then click on the "UPLOAD RAW FILE" button as shown below to start uploading.
Note: Make sure you don’t close the current tab until the uploading is done.
Once the upload is done, open the "Uploads" folder by clicking on its name as shown below.
Once you open the folder, as shown below, you can see the images and video files that you uploaded. In the "Actions" column of any file, click on the "Copy URL" button to copy the URL of that file. You can paste this public URL into any application or app and use it as per your need.
